Artists Needed for GAHA Artist Studio Tour
Gilmer Arts and Heritage Association is accepting applications from artists
for the upcoming artist studio tour. The 2008 Artist Studio Tour will be
held November 1st and 2nd. The event will be held rain or shine and is
limited to the first 20 artists who qualify.
Guidelines are as follows:
Completed submission packages are due by August 26th, 2008. This will
include payment, application, and three photos of your work. Digital photos
will be used in promotions. Applications may be picked up at GAHA or printed
from our website at gilmerarts.org. Please send your completed application
to Gilmer Arts and Heritage Association, 207 Dalton Street, Ellijay, GA
30540.
The August 26th deadline is important so that we can get print
coverage during the apple festival.
$70.00 admission fee for GAHA members.
$95.00 fee for non-GAHA artists which will include $25.00 artist/art
educator GAHA membership.
A 25% commission will be assessed for any art work sold during the
October preview exhibit at GAHA (October 1-28, 2008).
No other sales or commission fees will be assessed by GAHA for the
duration of the artist tour (November 1 and 2, 2008).
The $70.00 fee will fund advertising, signage, postage, and printing
costs.
If you do not have studio space, you will be invited to display at GAHA
or another artist’s studio.
